Our Vision: To be recognized as the cornerstone of leadership and integrity by showing a strong membership force working together for one global enterprise.

What is the Boeing Space Coast Leadership Association?

  • The Boeing Space Coast Leadership Association, Chapter 629 of the National Management Association, is a non-profit, non-political, professional, all volunteer organization run for the educational benefit of its members and The Boeing Company.

  • NMA Chapter 629 was established in 1964 as the North American Aviation Management Club of Florida. Through the years, as the sponsoring company's name has changed, so to did Chapter 629's name change. In 1998, the heritage Rockwell NMA Chapter and the heritage McDonnell-Douglas Chapter merged into one strong Boeing chapter and became known as the Boeing Space Coast Chapter of the National Management Association, Inc. In January of 2004, Chapter 629 updated its name to the Boeing Space Coast Leadership Association to better reflect the emphasis on leadership development within the NMA, Chapter 629, and The Boeing Company.

  • The Objectives of the Boeing Space Coast Leadership Association are:

    a. To provide and encourage management and leadership development opportunities to its members.

    b. To support Boeing's vision of leadership excellence through the discovery, exercise, and advancement of leadership talent.

    c. To promote effective networking, communication, greater understanding, and team-building among all employees.

  • The Boeing Space Coast Leadership Association stresses team building on a National Scale through its active membership in the NMA, the Florida Space Coast Council, and the Council of Boeing Leadership Associations.

Why Join Boeing Space Coast Leadership Association/NMA Chapter 629?
  • BSCLA is a Leadership Workshop and offers an excellent opportunity to develop and exercise a solid set of leadership skills through NMA sponsored activities and courses.

  • BSCLA offers an opportunity to develop and improve your Interpersonnal, Communication, and Teamwork skills.

  • BSCLA provides opportunities for professional development that are supplemental to the Boeing Leadership Center & Boeing-Sponsored Training.

  • BSCLA advances opportunities to broaden your network and expand your knowledge on a broad base of informative topics that touch on community as well as company interests.

  • BSCLA offers an opportunity for the individual to increase his/her knowledge of Boeing culture, to build a network of people across Boeing Florida and the community, and to become acquainted with Boeing leaders in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

  • BSCLA is an exceptional avenue to connect with the "cultural tradition" within Boeing of helping others through volunteer work for community/charitable events and support of children's education.
